Pwnagotchi works by deauthenticating clients from nearby access points and listening to the reconnection, capturing the 4-way handshake. The captured PCAP files contain a hash that can be cracked to reveal the network Wi-Fi password. The Pwnagotchi will get stronger the more you use it as it has an on-board AI model that will tune itself to get better at capturing these handshakes!
